Whiteline's front lower control arms are designed to deliver significant improvements in geometry, featuring a -1.0° camber and +0.75° caster enhancement to optimize wheel alignment settings for on track performance. The increase in caster generates dynamic negative camber on the outside wheel during cornering, providing additional grip without the tire wear typically associated with static negative camber. Additionally, the higher caster improves traction and enhances the steering's self-centering effect. Together, these changes result in a noticeable improvement in front-end grip and handling.
The rear-mounted bushing on these control arms integrates Whiteline’s high-performance synthetic elastomer formulation with a precision-sealed bearing assembly, ensuring smooth arm movement as the wheel travels up and down. The front bushing features an oversized, heavy-duty crush tube, dramatically improving steering precision, particularly by reducing 'toe-change' during aggressive cornering and significantly enhancing turn-in response. These upgrades, coupled with a more positive arm location throughout the suspension's range of motion and enhanced alignment geometry, contribute to a more responsive and engaging driving experience, particularly at turn-in, mid-corner, and corner exit.
